My fellow travelers!

As per one of my previous posts, I mentioned an opportunity that I recently got involved with related to the Pro Travel Network.

I’m not here to promote the opportunity again, since it’s so fresh in your minds… but rather to inform you of my running results so far.

You see, after coming across a great article in one of the many blogs that I peruse during my daily morning read; I became inspired all over again! :P

The blog article talks about how you can save 25-40% on all personal travel.

Truly a great read!

Well, I wanted to expand on that with my Pro Travel Network opportunity.

Apparently, the advice mentioned on the blog requires you to start a travel website or blog under a corporation; therefore justifying the expenditure incurred during travel.

Overall, you are deemed a seperate legal entity that is conducting a business related to travel.  With that in hand, you can make a spouse a legal employee and write-off travel expenditures on your spouse’s behalf too.

All of that is fine and dandy… but far too overhwelming for the average Joe or Jane to do!

Plus, the expenses involved in registering a corporation and maintaining the accounting while trying to maintain your own personal income, expenses and taxes is just as much confusing!  Aaahhh!!!

Sure it’s easy to say,
”No worries, I’ll have my accountant handle that…”

But at what cost?  Simply keeping a bookshelfed corp on the books and in good standing costs me $350 a pop!!!

Anyway, enough babble… let me get to the point.

By joining the Pro Travel Opportunity, you join as an Independent Travel Agent from which you are defined as a Sole Proprietor. *Take note, I can only speak from Canadian experience.

As long as you conduct your business in your own legal name, you do not have to register a business name.  At the same time, you can benefit from the same tax write-offs as mentioned in the article… BUT you also reap the rewards of Travel Agent rates and amazing FAM trip deals.

At the end of the tax year, you get to deduct from your own personal income!  That means, you can potentially bring your personal income down to a lower tax bracket and either pay less tax… or get a refund! :)

But once again, it would be good to speak to your accountant on that.

Mind you, they say that if you intend to make over $30K a year running your own proprietorship, you should incorporate.

Well… that’s my two cents!

Omigosh!  This was only supposed to be a simple blurb. :P

To end things off, I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been able to pull off over $1583.50 in bonus commissions within 21 days… and that’s without any travel bookings yet! :)  To add, I haven’t done anything with it for over a week!

Can you imagine what this puppy can do if I put some effort into it?  Hahaha!!!

We’ll see.  I’m very much into the principle of least effort. :P

BTW, I just realized something… this post did end up becoming another shameless plug.  :P  Oopsies!

Happy travels!

Since the advent of the Internet and the dawning of online travel booking,
it is very common for many enthusiastic travelers out there to search for last minute travel deals.

It’s almost always a given that people out there who are plugged into their own task of seeking out last minute travel will more than likely find it on one of the many travel search engines out there!

The convenience of booking a travel online makes it quite settling to the stomach when you’re looking for a last minute travel deal.

During some of my travels, I recall the stresses of having to call a ton of various offline, conventional travel agents in the hopes of finding that great last minute travel price.  It would be like a race to the finish where it was up to you to close the deal and catch the last few seats on the plane traveling to one of your dream destinations.

Now, booking a last minute travel deal is instantaneous with the help of the Internet!

Understandably, last minute travel comes with it’s fair warnings.

First of all, you can’t be as picky and choosy as to the location of where you’d like to vacation.  Your list of destinations tend to decrease whenever you choose to leave on such short notice.

Second; you should still do your research.  You may encounter the problem of not having the necessary documentation for travel… or you may end up vacationing at a place that isn’t too accommodating to your likes and expectations.  Ideally, doing online searches of reviews on the various resorts that prove of interest to you would be good.

Third; I personally feel that you should book no shorter than a week’s worth of time.  You actually don’t reap the benefits of last minute travel if you ‘really’ travel last minute.  There was a time that I waited three days before picking a resort in Puerto Vallarta and realized that aside from paying the same cost for an all-inclusive package, I could have actually booked a package for a slightly cheaper price at another five star resort that had better reviews!

Another thing to note is that online travel package rates can actually be more competitive than the prices of a travel agent that quotes your over the telephone or at a conventional travel agency.  Why?  Commission! :)  Afterall, it’s their job to make a buck or two!

Online booking agencies are able to give you a better deal most of the times, because they do not have to incur the cost of having a middleman do the manual labor of searching for that great last minute travel deal for you.  In turn, they can discount the price slightly lower than what the agent would charge you inclusive of commission.

Overall, online booking has helped many travelers enjoy last minute travel.

So go ahead!  Don’t be scared to use the Internet as a tool for your travel needs!  Using an online travel search engine is definitely a time saver!

… And if searching for last minute travel deals isn’t as much of a bargain for you, then maybe you should look at starting your own travel online travel agency and reap the benefits of what travel agents enjoy for themselves!

Happy travels!

Hello my fellow travel enthusiasts!

Here is something I recently came across a few weeks ago. It’s called Pro Travel Network… or PTN for short.

After reading this small review, you may kick yourself just like I did after finding out how truly amazing this is! I couldn’t help but join!

Now if only I had caught wind of this travel business opportunity a few years ago, I would not only have been saving a ton of money on the many travels I’ve already pursued, but it would have surely prevented me from losing a whole lot of money on the myriad of home based businesses I’ve tried over the years!

I’ve been in this home based travel business for approximately three weeks now and I’ve already made a little over $1,000 USD!

Mind you, I didn’t join for the purpose of making money. Rather, I joined for all the perks involved in the tax benefits and write-offs of a running a business, taking advantage of travel agent rates, and more excitingly; the FAM (familiarization) trips!!!

FAM trips alone are literally discounted as much as a few hundred dollars or even thousands! Such savings are worth way more than the cost of getting onboard with this travel business!

I would have thought such deals were absurd, but I actually came across a 15-day Mediterranean cruise on a top cruise liner for only $799! Come on! Without the perks of being an Independent Travel Agent, you’d never find such a deal!!!

Pro Travel Network also holds various International Training Events that you can participate in.

Prior to joining, they had an event in the Mayan Riviera as well as in the Bahamas. Now, they’re holding an event on a 5 day cruise, sailing from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas for only $99! (Pending no changes in my busy schedule, I should be attending!)

That alone is a good excuse to meet people, make some money, and write-off the travel!

This travel business is for real my friends!

This is a great opportunity for those of you that plan on traveling in the near future, or for those of you who already travel allot!

You get travel agent rates, so you can book vacations for your friends, family and colleagues. In turn, you can charge them based on how much profit you’d like to earn! After all, it’s your own business!

Right now, this opportunity is opened to North America (US and Canada only) with planned expansion into the European market.

The amazing thing is; In a population of over 330 million people, Pro Travel Network has less than 15,000 people enrolled. That means, this is totally ground floor!

With than in hand, the option of jumping onto the MLM side of things can potentially become very lucrative!

Anyway, if this is something that appeals to you, feel free to check out this opportunity site. I’m sure you’ll be motivated!

All the best… and happy travels!

Ultimately, I do hope for this blog to be a collaborative work of everyone that enjoys travel!

This should and will be a place of pro-active cooperation, where people from all walks of life can provide pictures, stories and anything else they feel entertaining to the travel enthusiast!
