Tourist Short Stay Visa
How can I apply for this visa?
There are a few options available to apply for a tourist visa to visit Switzerland. The best option for you will depend on your place of residence. You can either:
- fill out the visa application online, you check here if you’re able to do this.
- apply in person at a Swiss representative abroad, such as a Swiss embassy or consulate.
- at an external visa service provider;
- at the representation of another Schengen State
Don’t forget, there are 2 possible application forms:
Schengen visa - if you’re planning a short stay that lasts no more than 90 days.
National type D visa - if you’re planning a long stay, that will be more than 90 days.
