How do I apply for a student visa?
It can help to know what’s involved in applying for a visa before you start the process. Just make sure you apply at least 3 weeks in advance. Below, we’ve outlined the application process step by step.
Step 1
Set an appointment with the German embassy or consulate. You can book an appointment for a future date by going to the German embassy in your country. Or if you don’t have one, you can go to an embassy or consulate in a neighbouring country.
Step 2
Fill in the application form.
Step 3
Pay the application fee.
Step 4
Review the necessary documents. It’s a good idea to check the website of the German embassy in your country to find the list of all the required documents.
Step 5
Attend the interview.
